How to use the toolkit
- Export or copy your current inventory quantities into the inventory template.
- Add the products you build and their component requirements to the BOM template.
- List the production orders you expect to start, including quantity and start date.
- Add incoming purchase orders if you want future receipts included in the check.
- Run the Material Readiness Scan to classify jobs as READY, AT RISK or BLOCKED.
Why not just use a production schedule template?
A schedule can show when you want work to start. It does not automatically prove that every required component will still be available after earlier jobs consume shared stock. A material-readiness check adds inventory allocation, BOM demand and incoming purchase orders to the planning step.
Useful before an ERP migration
If your team still relies on Excel, Google Sheets or basic ERP exports, this toolkit lets you test the readiness workflow before replacing your system.
Useful beside an existing ERP
If planners already export data to spreadsheets to double-check shortages, the same exports can feed a focused readiness scan.
What the free scanner checks
It allocates known component supply to jobs in start-date order, includes purchase orders that arrive before the job starts, and identifies the component that creates a shortage or timing risk. It is a diagnostic tool, not an ERP, MRP replacement, capacity scheduler or accounting system.
